What You’ll Do:
- Operate and fine-tune press brakes to bend, cut, and shape metal into exact specifications.
- Prepare, set up, and adjust equipment based on product plans and schedules.
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and keep machines running smoothly.
- Plan work across multiple presses, manage raw materials, and follow production schedules.
- Assist and train less experienced operators, serving as a go-to resource on the floor.
- Operate a forklift to safely move materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
What You Bring:
- At least 3 years of press brake experience with a proven ability to set up, operate, and maintain the equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product plans with accuracy.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Leadership potential and strong communication skills.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical work including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 25 lbs).
